Recommended Replacement Motor for my Atwood Landing Gear Motor 75721

Does the gear box have to be changed for this motor to work ? the 75721 motor quit and i was changing to the LC141893 or will the original Atwood gearbox work

We have found that in most all cases that the Lippert Components Tuson High Speed 5th Wheel RV Landing Gear Motor part # LC141893 does work out with the Atwood gearbox. We run into this regularly because of Atwood being discontinued.

The price difference does seem backwards, but the faster speed part #LG-141893 has the same weight capacity as the lower speed part #LG-142178 that you also referenced. It's a difference of 5,500 RPM and 7,140 RPM so you would definitely see…
