Do Left & Right Hand Trailer Springs Have to be Mounted on Left or Right Hand Sides

It says left hand on the trailer ramp spring does it make a difference on the left or right side.?

Expert Reply:
You will indeed need to place the left hand ramp spring on the left hand side (the driver's side) and the right hand ramp spring on the right hand side (the passenger's side) in order for the springs to properly mount and wind. We do have both left hand and right hand springs so you will need to get one for each side:
- Left Hand Side: Ramp Spring # RS16933LH
- Right Hand Side: Ramp Spring # RS16933RH
