Does Draw Tite Hitch DT45508 Have Safety Chain Size Requirements
Question:
I recently bought a 35 foot camper and the hooks on the safety chains do not fit into the openings of the hitch. What size clevis hooks does this hitch use to properly latch the safety chains?

There isn't a listed safety chain size that the Draw Tite hitch part # DT45508 was designed to be used with but Draw Tite makes their hitches to be as universal as possible with safety chains so if you were having issues with your current hitch this one would fit and work better. The only time we typically see any issues with safety chain loops not fitting well with safety chains is on OEM hitch setups.
