How To Haul A 76lb Rad Electric Cargo Bike On The Back Of A Vehicle
Question:
I am looking for a rack that would work for my Rad 4 electric cargo bike. It’s 76 pounds and 78.7 inches long. Would the fat tires be large enough to secure. The fat tire size is 22x3 Any help is appreciated. Thank you,

The Ultra-Fab Dirt Bike Carrier for 2" Hitches - 500 lbs # UF48-979033 would be an excellent choice for a carrier that is suitable for your Rad E-bike. This has a track width of 5" so it will easily accommodate your bike's 3" wide tires. The weight capacity is 500lbs so you will not have any issues with that either. Your bike has a wheelbase of 53" so it will work well with the 77" platform that the Ultra-Fab provides. You could then secure the bike to the carrier with Erickson Motorcycle and ATV Tie-Downs w Soft Ties and TCS Buckles - 1"x6' - 400 lbs - Qty 2 # EM05729.
I attached a couple demonstration videos that you can check out for more insight on the products. One last thing to keep in mind is that you should make sure your vehicle has a 2" hitch receiver that is capable of hauling the 76lb ebike and the bike carrier which weighs about 50lbs.
