What is the Capacity of Ultra-Fab 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer # UF19-950001
Question:
Will the UF19-950001 fifth wheel pin tripod hold the full weight of my Carriage Cameo model F35 SB3. I want a tripod that will hold my trailer when I lift the front jacks to re-level the trailer? It claim it good for 5000 lbs!

Expert Reply:
The support capacity of the Ultra-Fab 5th Wheel King Pin Tripod Stabilizer, # UF19-950001, is 5,000 pounds, just like you have said. As long as the pin weight of your trailer does not exceed 5,000 pounds at any given time it is resting on the tripod then it will work well for you. With that said you do not want to suddenly drop 5,000 pounds on it. It should be lowered onto the tripod gradually.
If you need additional length beyond the 42 to 56 inches this tripod has, you can add extension legs # UF19-950002 to gain another 8 inches.
