Installation of 3015-S Trailer Brake Controller Harness in 2003 Hummer H2
Question:
Good day I ordered the REDARC Tow pro Trailer brake controller and the TEKONSHA 3015-S GM adapter Reading the directions the controller gives specific information saying Black is the power input and red is the brake lights but the 3015-S just says red is power and blue is the control feed wire but doesnt say what other wires do. I now truly dont know which wires to connect to make this work without frying my system , if you sell a kit make a wiring diagram to connect them . or better yet use the same colors on both sides . I need help on this I would like to connect it up today

The Tekonsha Custom Wiring Adapter for Trailer Brake Controllers - Pigtail - GM # 3015-S does match color for color if you have 12V power getting to the adapter. If you do not, then they specify that the red and black are reversed for functions in step 3. If you have power then you skip step 3 and move to step 4 which is matching color for color. I've highlighted this part to assist in the attached photo.
The brake controller will have black for power input which will connect to the red power wire on the pigtail. The blue on the controller will match the blue on the pigtail harness. The white will also match with the white on the pigtail, so that means the red on the controller should match with the black on the pigtail.
