Replacement 7-Way Trailer Connector for a 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
Question:
Im wondering if i use #PK11898 to replace the original connector on my 06 Silverado 1500, will i have to re-wire it, or will the connection just plug into the new piece?

If your 2006 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 came with a factory 7-way trailer connector then you will not need to do any wiring to install the Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket w/ Wiring Harness and Mounting Bracket part # PK11898. If this is the case then I actually recommend you use the Pollak Replacement 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector Socket part # PK11893 with the Mounting Bracket and Installation Hardware - Pollak 7-Pole, RV-Style Trailer Connector part # PK12711U as it will save you some cash.
