Weight Distribution for ATC Raven Car Hauler 20 ft

Question:

Hello, I have a 20ft ATC car hauler aluminum frame and I am looking for recommendations on a weight distribution and anti sway system that would work best. There seem to be a number of opinions on using these systems with aluminum frame models, but ATC confirms it is allowable with their trailers. The GVWR is 7700# but it probably will never exceed 6500 lbs including trailer, car, and gear. Thanks for your help!

Normally weight distribution systems can't be used with aluminum frame trailers like you mentioned but since the manufacturer of your ATC trailer has stated it's okay to do so then you are okay to use a system.

Since your frame is a v-nose you'd need bolt on brackets like part # RP58305 with a system like the part # RP66542 and you'd be set.

For a 2 inch ball you would want part # A-90 and for a 2-5/16 inch ball # 19286.
