Adding Second Reese Friction Sway Control To Decrease Trailer Sway

Question:

If I add a second friction sway control bar to the other side, will it help decrease the sway I have with the one? I have a Keystone Hideout 28RKS being pulled with a F150

Yes. Adding a second Reese Friction Sway Control Kit - Economy - by Draw-Tite, Reese and Hidden Hitch # 83660 will double the sway control on your trailer so it will absolutely help with decreasing sway. If you have a weight distribution head with the mounts for two sway bars then you should be able to add the second friction sway bar very easily. If you do not, then you may need to weld on a tab like # 3442.

Using two friction sway bars is recommended for trailers that are 26 feet long or longer. I've attached an article on sway control to assist.
