Question:

Can the Curt ball mount 2inch inch, model #45836 be used upside down?

Most ball mounts, like the Draw-Tite # 2753 can be used in both a rise (upside down) and drop (standard) position. I'm not seeing any Curt ball mount with a part number 45836, but as I mentioned, most ball mounts are designed to be used either way. You will want to measure to determine if you need a rise or drop, so I've linked a helpful article we did on the process so you can determine exactly how much rise/drop you need.

I've also linked all of our regular ball mounts that fit in 2" hitches.
