Roof Rack Recommendation for a 2015 Flagstaff Mac 206 LTD Pop Up Camper
Question:
I have a 2015 Flagstaff Mac 206 LTD pop up camper. I am wanting to install your S80510 roof rack on the roof of the camper. I called Flagstaff and they told me the two main structural supports for the roof ran along edge on each side of the roof and were 1 1/2” wide. Flagstaff said the roof rack bases need to be mounted there but there is a metal corner trim that is approximately 1” wide. Therefore taking up the majority of the 1 1/2” mounting area. Roof width is 85” including the angle trim. They told me it is okay to install mounting screws they the metal trim and into the support brace below trim. Just want to know if S80510 rack will work for me? Thanks,

Thank you for the pictures!
We actually have 2 different roof rack options that are for pop up campers like your 2015 Flagstaff Mac 206 LTD. The Swagman Roamer LT # S80510 that you are looking at has the mounting feet that go straight down that you were mentioning.
Since you are needing to mount it right on the corners you'll want to go with the SportRack Pop-Up Camper Roof Rack # SR1020 instead. This was actually designed to fit the same style of roof you have on your Flagstaff and we have quite a few pictures showing that it was meant to be installed with that style of metal corner trim.
