How to measure leaf springs that are rusted together?

To measure leaf springs you want to measure the distance from bolt eye to bolt eye with no load on them. Then when you go to pick out new ones you will go with ones that match the axle capacity and are also roughly 1/4 inch shorter than what you measured since springs tend to stretch over time.

In order to determine the torque rating for the lug nuts on your trailer you will need to know check out the chart I attached that shows all of the torque specs for all the trailer lugs available based on stud size, wheel material and wheel size.
