The typical springs for the AL-KO 4,400 axles are one of two lengths. If you have the 25-1/4 inch length, then you will want the 4-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 5,000-lb Trailer Axles # e28SR, but if you have the 26 inch springs, you will want the 6-Leaf Double-Eye Spring for 4,500-lb Trailer Axles # e27SR. The width will be the same so you will want to determine the length based on the position of the axle using dimension A and D in the attached photos and the axle position based on the hanger locations. I've attached articles to assist as well as video reviews.

I have two 4400 LB axels on my fifthwheel. They currently have 4 leaf springs, with 26 inches between eyes. The springs on it now are flat. There is no arc to them. Will these 6 leaf springs maintain an arc and increase the height of my trailer? I have read that some people utilize this method to lift a trailer, but I wasn't sure if I would need to go to a stiffer spring.

You definitely can use the 6 leaf springs and it should increase the height of your trailer since you're currently using 4 leaf springs. One thing to note though is that leaf springs, just like all other trailer components, will wear out over time, and they will wear out quicker the more hard you run them (maxed out load many trips a year type of thing). We recommend checking up on your leaf springs once a year or every 12,000 miles whichever comes first.
