Why is My Primus Brake Controller Activating at Highway Speeds?
Question:
I have noticed my Primus IQ will intermittently indicate a low braking level at highway speeds or while coasting downhill. It is not significant 0.2 - 0.8 but I still dont think it still should be happening. I cant tell if the brakes are actually activating or not. Any thoughts? I do have the controller set to Boost 1inch as I was towing a heavy load for my truck.

After talking to the manufacturer this problem can be caused by the Primus IQ part # TK90160 not being mounted level in the vehicle. They suggested to unplug the controller for approximately ten minutes , level the controller in the vehicle, clean your connection points, and re-install the controller.
