Where Does the Center Pole of a 7-Way Wire to on a Motorhome Trailer
Question:
I bought new 7 way connector for my pigtail that connects to the motorhome - the other end to my tow vehicle. Theres only 6 wires instead of 7. The one that isnt there is the purple one going by your diagram. Im sure there was some wire attached to the middle when I took off the old one it came apart and got dragged on freeway

The purple wire you are referring to is the reverse light circuit, this circuit is usually used as a reverse lockout circuit for trailers with surge brakes so they can be reversed without activating the brakes of the trailer. Or sometimes it is used for reverse lights on a trailer.
If your trailer does not have surge brakes or reverse lights there will be nowhere for this circuit to be connected to since there is not a function it can go to.
If you do have surge brakes you will want to find the reverse lockout solenoid and connect a wire from there to the center pole of the trailer connector. If you have reverse lights you will want to find the wiring from the reverse lights and run it to the center pole of the connector.
I attached a picture of a trailer connector for you to check out also.
