Best Way to Secure Go Power 90 Watt Portable Solar Panel to Prevent Theft
Question:
Hi. I have a Jayco 17RK TT, a 90 watt deep cycle AGM battery power, and a Honda 3000 watt generator I bring. I use about 20-25 amps daily and usually camp for 2-3 night except intake a month trip out west. I usually dry camp. How much Amps per hour could the Go Power 90 watt generate back to my battery on a medium sunny day? Final question, how to secure it to my trailer to prevent theft?

Those are great questions! According to my contact at Go Power, the amperage rating for the Go Power # 34282729 under ideal conditions would be 4.6 amps/hour back into your battery bank. This will fluctuate depending on sun conditions as well as the orientation to the sun, age of battery bank, cleanliness of solar panel, etc.
To prevent theft, I highly recommend the ToyLok Retractable Cable Lock with Padlock # LC337120. You would bolt it onto your trailer's frame with the included tamper resistant hardware, wrap the steel-braided cable around one of the legs on the solar panel and secure it with the padlock.
