2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty Air Bag Kit Recommendation for an In-Bed Camper
Question:
I've got a 2024 F-350 and my plan is to purchase a camper for the bed but I want to install some air bags to help support it. My first question is can I safely let all air out of the bags when I'm not hauling the camper, and also which kit do you recommend?

I recommend going with the Air Lift LoadLifter 7500 XL Ultimate Air Helper Springs # AL89DQ for hauling around an in-bed camper with your 2024 Ford F-350 Super Duty. I really like this kit because it has the higher 7,500 lb rating (which you don't have to use to the max) plus Air Lift has integrates jounce springs inside of the air bags so you have some peace of mind.
You can lower the pressure in the air bags down to 5 psi which allows your OEM suspension to fully take over without completely depleting the bags of air - which could cause them to get pinched in certain circumstances.
I also recommend checking out an air compressor kit like the Air Lift WirelessAIR Suspension System # AL27DQ because it gives you a way to monitor and adjust the air bags on the fly as well as providing an on-board tank that you can use to fill up your truck tires or various tools and equipment around the campsite.

Hi Jon, I just received my host Yukon 11.6 camper. It has three slides and a dry weight of 4600 lbs. I have on order a 2024 f450 crew cab long bed 4x4. Will these airbags fit. 5000 lbs is not going to be enough plus it would be maxed out. The other one I like is ReadyAir by logiq Thoughts
