I was wondering why I can not install your hitch on my 2011 Ford Super Duty short bed but I can install a BandW gooseneck hitch instead. Why is that?

You can install the Reese Elite Series 5th wheel install kit and gooseneck hitch, # RP30138-26 on a short bed 2011 Ford Super Duty. I have included a link to the instructions for the 5th wheel part (# RP30126) and you can see that the instructions state for 6 foot and 8 foot beds.
