Will Draw-Tite or Curt Hitch for 2019 Hyundai Sonata Work Best with Bike Rack
Question:
I'm looking to purchase a hitch for my 2019 Sonata and I see you offer two. Would either one work or is there one you'd recommend over the other and why? I'll be carrying 2 bikes with my Swagman XC rack.

For your 2018 Hyundai Sonata, your best option is to go with the Draw-Tite # 24965 trailer hitch for a couple of reasons.
The Draw-Tite hitch will offer you 1 extra inch of ground clearance and while this may not seem like much, it can make a difference when hitting a bump on the road or trying to drive up a steep driveway with a vehicle with already low ground clearance, such as your Sonata.
Also, Curt strongly recommends the use of a stabilizing strap # 18050 when using the # C11402 hitch for any non-trailer load (like your Swagman bike rack). This is not the case for the Draw-Tite hitch, making it one less thing to have to worry about every time you take your bikes out for a ride.
