What size is the nut to raise/lower jack? I use a cordless nut driver .

I have a solution for you, but when I called Lippert to confirm the size of the bolt on the Lippert Components Scissor Jack # LC285325 they informed me that this particular jack should not be raised or lowered using a power tool, but it does have a 3/4" nut. For that reason, I recommend instead going with the Stromberg Carlson # JSC-24-IND which works with a standard 3/4" socket. If you needed a matching socket for this jack, you can use the Ultra-Fab Speed Socket which is an adapter for 3/8" drill bits.

In order to mount these scissor jacks you will want to mount them within the departure angle of the trailer, as shown in the attached image; anywhere within that area will be within the safe mounting distance to make sure that they don't come in contact with the door/ramp in the event of an accident.
