I have added some photos of how the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch # E98912 will look when installed on a 2019 Subaru Crosstrek. Though these are photos of the Curt Trailer Hitch # C13382, the two hitches are the same except for the etrailer hitch has a matte black finish compared to the gloss black finish of the Curt hitch, which basically just means the etrailer hitch has a bit more of a rugged look and isn't quite as prone to scratches.

As you can see by the photos, the etrailer.com Trailer Hitch # E98912 has a concealed crosstube so only the actual receiver is going to show. This is a Class III hitch with 2" receiver, 3,500 lb towing capacity, 525 lb tongue weight capacity, is made in the USA and comes with a lifetime warranty.

I have added a link to a video of the Curt hitch being installed on a 2019 Crosstrek for you to take a look at, and the etrailer hitch will be the exact same installation.

For wiring which will give you a 4-way connector and allow you to power your trailer's lights you need Wiring Harness # 118467. It is also strongly recommended you use Dielectric Grease for Electrical Connectors # 11755 to help prevent any type of corrosion in your connector, which will increase its durability and extend its lifespan. I have added a link to a video of this harness being installed on a '19 Crosstrek.

I also recommend checking out Ball Mount Kit # 989900, which is for 2” hitches and may fulfill your towing needs in one tidy package; two ball mounts - one with a 3/4” rise or 2” drop and the other with a 2-3/4” rise or 4” drop – along with a 1-7/8” hitch ball, a 2” hitch ball, and a pin and clip.

You can use the link to the help article on ball mounts I've added to determine if this kit will give you the correct amount of drop or rise.
