Wiring Harness That Will Fit 1998 Ford E-350 Econoline Without Factory Connector
Question:
98 Ford E350 club wagon wiring. Hello, we have a 98 Ford E350 club wagon 15 passenger and it does not have the factory wiring. Our customer wants to put a round trailer plug on it, as well as the 4 pin if possible. They will NOT be adding trailer brakes. Which kits do I need to do this? Thanks in advance.

To add a 4-way to your 1998 Ford E-350 Econoline that does not have the factory tow package, all you need to do is add the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118344, which uses plug-in connectors that you will install behind the van's taillights.
I'm not quite sure what you are referring to in regards to a round trailer plug, as that would only be needed if you were using trailer brakes. Without brakes you will only need the lighting functions of the 4-way, although you can add a 7-way if you like with part # 37185 which is a 4-way to 7-way adapter.
I have added a link to a video review of the 4-way for you to take a look at as well as a link to an informative article on trailer wiring which I strongly recommend checking out.
