Curt Rails for Pro Series 15k Fifth Wheel Hitch in a 2016 Ford F-250

I have a 2016 F250. I already have a Pro Series 15K 5th wheel and was looking at purchasing the Curt 16424 mount and the curt 16204 rails. What to make sure the hitch i have will work with these curt parts. thanks

Yes, the Pro Series 15K fifth wheel hitch part # ps30094 is compatible with the Curt installation kit part # C16424-204 on a 2016 Ford F-250 with 8 foot bed. The Curt rails are industry standard so they are compatible with any hitch that uses industry standard base rails. Pro Series is made by Reese, I have attached a photo of the mounting holes for the Reese hitch on the rails. I have attached a link of installing the Curt rails in a 2014 Ford F-250.

If you do not already have fifth wheel wiring in the Ford, I recommend Bargman part # 50-97-410 because the installation is a bit easier. The 7-way plug that goes into the bed wall is designed with a 90 degree angle so it will easily install into tighter spaces in the bed rail. The wiring plugs into the existing 7-way plug on the bumper of your Ford and a new 7-way plug mounts into the side of the bed rail. When it comes time to hook up the trailer the plug is conveniently located right inside the bed. I have attached an installation video for the wiring on a 2014 Ford F-250.

If the Ford is a 6 3/4 bed it is possible to switch out the fixed legs on the Reese to a slider base part # RP30048 or # RP50024. The Slider base will help with turning clearance in the short bed truck.
