Can Spacers be Added to the Curt Hitch for Bumper Clearance on a 1966 Chevrolet C10
Question:
if I had to, is it possible to lower the receiver hitch half an inch to clear the bumper? do you offer spacers to go between the truck frame and the hitch?

I do have an option for you but I cannot recommend you add any spacers in between the trailer hitch and trailer frame as this would affect the integrity of the trailer hitch. Therefore, if the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 13028 does not clear the rear bumper on your 1966 Chevrolet C10 then your only other option is to use the Curt 3-Piece Trailer Hitch Receiver part # C15511.
The distance from the bottom of the frame to the top of the receiver tube opening is 4-1/2" with part # 13028 and 7-3/4" with part # C15511. I have attached a photo to show this for you as well.
