For a hitch confirmed as a fit for your 2018 Honda CR-V the etrailer.com hitch # E98848 would be your best option. What I really like about it is that concealed crosstube that makes most of the hitch aside from the opening not visible. It also has great towing capacities as well at 3,500 lb trailer weight and 525 lb tongue weight.
For trailer wiring the most reliable option we have is the Tekonsha kit part # 118741 which is a confirmed fit. It's a plug and play option too which means it will install easily. I attached an install for more info as well.
I attached an help article that covers how to pick out the correct ball mount. Selecting the correct ball mount will allow your trailer to sit as level as possible. Basically you will first measure the height from the ground to the top of the receiver opening on the hitch while on level ground. Next, you will measure the coupler height from the ground to the bottom of the trailer coupler when the trailer is on level ground.
Next, you will need to compute the difference. If the hitch height is greater than the coupler height the difference is the drop required. If the coupler height is greater the difference is the rise required. You will want to pick the ball mount with the rise/drop closest to the difference.

Is there photo of a clean installation with this trailer hitch with wiring. The examples that I saw with the CR-V have the wire come out of the hatch. Wondering if it's possible to get a clean wiring install where the wiring is adjacent to the hitch. Pictures appreciated if there are!
