how to route wiring harness for 2013 acura rdx with 75784

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # 118569 as well as the other custom wiring harnesses we carry will all install in a similar manner. This custom-fit T-One connector plugs into your Acura RDX's wiring harness, which is located behind the driver's-side interior trim panel in your rear cargo area. Once you've plugged in the tow harness, locate the fuse box under your Acura RDX's hood and insert the provided 20-amp fuse as indicated in the instructions.
The most preferred way to route the wiring is under the side panel into the rear tire storage area. You can store the connecter there when not in use and then pull it out the hatch door when ready for use. This is the most common installation and operation. If you prefer to have the wiring attached to the hitch, you can use a rubber grommet under the cargo storage area to pull the wire through and then use some sealant like # LT37467 to make the wire and cut grommet water tight again. Then you can use mounting bracket # 18144 on your Draw-Tite Hitch # 75784.
