Hitch Recommendation for 2017 Chrysler Pacifica with Capacity for Harmar Power Chair
Question:
I have a power wheelchair that weighs in at 342 lbs and is transported on a hitch mounted lift Harmar brand which will weigh between 65-85 lbs. My question is will I be able to carry my chair on a mini-van This is a hitch mounted lift, it fits into a 2 receiver and raises and lowers electrically. Any advice you might offer would be most appreciated. Thank you

To carry the weight of your chair and carrier you'd need a vehicle and hitch that have at least a 450 lb tongue weight capacity.
For a 2017 Chrysler Pacifica like you referenced we have the Draw Tite hitch part # 76046-SK which has a 675 lb tongue weight capacity that would be a great option for you if you have a hybrid model Pacifica.
If you don't have a hybrid, you would need to add a weight distribution along with either the etrailer # e98903 or the Curt # C65CR. Either of these hitches will have a 500 pound tongue weight capacity WHEN it is used with a weight distribution system.
