How to Replace the Shock on a Titan Model 10 Surge Brake Actuator
Question:
Per Jameson C. comment “To replace the shock in your Titan model 10 actuator you are going to basically need to disassemble the actuator so that you have access to the shocks.”. But it seems to me that the part #31 2x are holding #18 whole front assembly. The actuator doesn’t need to be disassembled to replace damper/shock, or did I missing something. Thanks!

We have not yet replaced the Shock part # T1242600 on a Titan Model 10 Surge Brake Actuator so I do not have any specifics for you but I have attached a parts diagram which shows you how the unit is broken down. You can then use this to get a better idea of what all is needed to replace the shock. I spoke to the manufacturer and they do not have any sort of write-up for this process either so it appears that the only option would be to just begin disassembly and see what parts need to be removed to access the shock.
