Replacement Inner Slide for Titan Model 10 Actuator with 2-5/16 Coupler

Question:

I have the Titan Model 10 bolt on brake unit for hydraulic drum brakes. It is paired with the coupler. The slide actuator was stuck closed when I got it. Since then I pulled it out to its regular operating length and noticed some damage to the top part of the slide. What is the right replacement, and are their instructions for replacing the slide actuator?

Expert Reply:

You can replace the inner slide of your Titan Model 10 actuator with the Replacement Inner Slide Assembly w/ 2-5/16" Coupler for Titan Model 10 Brake Actuators # T2478300317. You will also need to replace the slide bearings with the Bearing - Top & Bottom - for Titan Model 10 Actuator # T1020900.

I have attached a photo of the instructions for assembly of a Model 10 actuator that you should find helpful in the process of repairing your old actuator.
