For your 40 foot travel trailer, I recommend using four stabilizer jacks and two wheel stabilizers. The stabilizers jacks will need to be placed in all four corner of the trailer and for this, I recommend the Ultra-Fab Ultra Scissor Jacks part # UF48-979031 which have a 6,500 lb capacity and offer up to 30" of lift. If you have a cordless 1/4" impact you can use the speed socket part # UF48-979005 to raise/lower the jacks but if not there is a manual crank handle included.
For the wheel stabilizers, I recommend using the Ultra-Fab Chock and Lock Wheel Stabilizers part # UF21-001070 which are easy to use and work with a wheel to wheel spacing of 1-1/2" - 5-1/4". They also have a lifetime warranty. This option will do an excellent job of staibilzing the trailer and reducing both side to side and front to back movement.
I have attached a review video of both products for you as well.
