Using Ultra-Fab # UF48-979002 Stabilizing Jacks on Motorhome Instead of a Trailer

Question:

I have a 2005 27 ft Coachmen Freelander motorhome I just purchased and Im int in the Ultrafab 6500 lb scizzor jacks for leveling the RV. Will these jacks work for my RV as all the reviews I see mention use on a trailer! Are there any specific instructions as to mounting location or other areas of concern I should b aware of? Thnx

There's no reason why you couldn't use the Ultra-Fab # UF48-979031 scissor jacks to stabilize your RV when it's parked. Keep in mind these aren't meant to jack the RV off the ground, but are meant to keep the vehicle stable while you move around within it.

The jacks can be welded on or bolted in place, your choice. I'd recommend installing them to the underside of a substantial fame or cross member. There aren't any specific installation instructions as the location and method of installation will depend on the individual application.
