Recommended Weight Distribution System for 3,700 Pound Travel Trailer

If I have a travel trailer that is a single axle, 3700lb loaded, and a dry tongue weight of 320, would it be better to go with a weight distribution hitch with a 450 two and 4500lb? Or the 600lb two and 6000lb?

When picking out a weight distribution system, the most important factor to consider is the total tongue weight of your setup. This number includes both the loaded tongue weight of your trailer (as if loaded and ready for a trip), along with any added cargo weight coming from behind the rear axle of your Tacoma. Ideally, this number will fall somewhere near the middle of the operating range for the system you choose.
Using a tongue weight scale like the etrailer # e99044 is the most accurate way to determine your trailer's loaded tongue weight, but we can take an estimate based on the information you provided in your question. You mentioned a dry tongue weight of 320 pounds, but since we want to go by the loaded tongue weight, we will use the 3,700 pound loaded weight of the trailer that you listed. Since a trailer's tongue weight should be around 10 to 15 percent of its total weight, we can estimate a loaded tongue weight of 370 to 555 pounds.
With this in mind, the Fastway e2 Weight Distribution System # FA92-00-0600 will be the way to go, as it features a tongue weight capacity of 250 to 600 pounds. The 450 max tongue weight system will likely be under-rated for your particular setup.
This is a really nice system that will do a great job of evenly distributing weight over the axles of your Tacoma and trailer. Its integrated 2-point sway control will limit side-to-side movement and the trunnion spring bars will flex for a controlled and even ride. You will just need to add a compatible hitch ball like the 2 inch # EQ91-00-6080 or the 2-5/16 inch # EQ91-00-6100.
