Troubleshooting Fastway Weight Distribution System Bounce When Towing
Question:
i have a 2012 f150. i am towing a 4800 lbs travel trailer . i have the e2 weight distribution hitch but notice i still get a little bounce . would the timbren rear suspension enhancement be a goodidea , orcan they be used together .

The Timbren system might actually cause the bounce to increase since it will push the suspension back up harder. Typically WD system bounce is due to using a weight distribution system that is rated too high for the tongue weight of the trailer.
You didn't mention what system you have but the correct one for a 4,800 lb trailer would be the part # FA94-00-0600 which has a tongue weight range of 400-600 lbs. If you have a higher rated round bar setup you could swap the bars of it to the part # FA94-02-0699 and you'd have the proper rated system.
