2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee Trailer Hitch and Wiring Recommendation
Question:
I would like to install the Curt 13065 Hitch as it appears to have the best reviews. Does the Curt 55774 Wiring connector install to the 13065 hitch? Your video shows it easily installing on a draw-tite.

Expert Reply:
When installing the Curt 7-way harness part # C55774, which is a fit for your 2015 Jeep Grand Cherokee, you actually want to attach the mounting bracket to the rear bumper of your vehicle and not to the hitch. Drilling into a hitch tube actually voids the warranty.
The Curt hitch part # C13065 is a fit for your vehicle as well and would be a great hitch solution.

I ordered a Curt T connector, part #55774. I have a draw-Tite hitch already in place that has holes for the mounting bracket. Will I need to remove the hitch to attach the connecting mounting bracket?Thank you.
