Trailer Wiring Harness with 4-Way Flat Connector for 1997 Honda Valkyrie
Question:
I have a 1997 Honda Valkyrie with a older Hoppy tail light converter # 310-0041-560. The grounding pin broke off last time I unplugged it. I am now looking to replace it. It provided very dim lighting with standard 1157 light bulbs, so I changed to LEDs, but it was even dimmer than before. Do you have a recommendation of which converter would provide a brighter lighting system for trailer. I do also have side marker lights on trailer. Thanks

First, with LED lights, the color of the bulb needs to match the color of the lens. Otherwise you will have dim lights or off-color lights.
If you want you can replace just the 4-Way end on the harness that you have with # HM48190. If you want to replace the whole harness I recommend going with a powered option such as # 119250KIT which will get the power for the trailer lights directly from the battery instead of drawing it through the tail light wiring.
