Distance Between Bikes on Swagman Chinook Bike Rack

I have narrowed my search for a bike rack to the Swagman G10 and Shinook. Seems only real difference is 1 crossbar vs 2 crossbars. My question is, that when the bikes are loaded is the distance between the bikes the same. On the specs., one states the distance between the bikes is 9.5inch but not distance stated on the other. thanks
