Hello everybody. This is Jeff at etrailer.com. Today we're gonna take a look at this Taylor Made foam dock corner bumper. Now this foam bumper will attach to the corner of your dock to help prevent damage to your boat when you're docking. I wanna zoom in and show you the construction of it. It uses a two-layer hybrid foam construction to provide excellent protection.
The inner portion, the inner core is a low density inner core. This will compress to absorb any impacts. And then the outer core or outer layer is a high density outer layer, helps the bumper retain its shape over time. It is made of a UV resistant material, so it won't crack or peel in the sun. It is a white foam so it won't mark up your boat's haul.
And what's nice about it, this bumper is pre-drilled and ready to mount on the corner of your dock. And where you would install it, there's two foam plugs over here and two over here. What you'll do is just pop these plugs out. I happen to start pulling this one out for when you pull this plug out, if you look on the inside, has a hole there drilled through with a washer in it. So basically, it's pre-drilled.
All you have to do is mount it over here and two over here. Now the mounting hardwood install is not included. We do sell that separately. Once you get it mounted, then all you do is take that plug, push it right all the way back in, makes it a clean appearance. A few dimensions on this, we're gonna measure the height.
So the overall height on this is right about 5 inches tall. The thickness of it, it's gonna be right about 3 1/4 inches thick, both sides. And the length, we're gonna measure the length, which is gonna be from this end all the way to this end. If we put a ruler on that, it's gonna be right at about 18 inches. And the same way this way from this end to this end, it's gonna be right at 18 inches. But that's gonna do it for the review on this Taylor Made foam dock corner bumper.

The bumpers are a good product and the look nice. The reason for only 3 stars is one of the four bumpers I purchased was missing the metal washers. My boat dock is 20 miles from the closest supply store, so the project was delayed. Not good??
