Hi everybody. Andy here with etrailer.com and today we're gonna take a look at this K-Source electric passenger side replacement side mirror. Now this is going to fit your 2017 to 2018 Honda Civic Hatchback and for your reference, I am also including the original equipment number on your screen. And this is modeled after Honda's original look and fit. So you're really not going to be able to tell that this is a replacement. It's going to look like it came with your Civic right from the factory.

And it features a durable plastic housing with a textured black finish. And this cover can be painted to match your vehicle if you so desire and like your original mirror, this mirror has the power remote capability so you can adjust the mirror face position with your factory power controls inside of your civic. Now, do keep in mind that the power remote capability is only possible if your civic is already capable of doing that. So if your original mirror could do it, this mirror will be able to do it as well but it's not going to add that functionality to your Civic if it doesn't already have those features. Also, I do wanna mention that this mirror does not have a camera or turn signal function.

Now the OE grade convex glass with the first surface plating is going to reflect clear images for you. The front of the glass is plated with reflective chrome and the convex lens is going to provide a wide angle view that is going to help reduce blind spots. Now this mirror also features that breakaway design. It's going to allow this mirror to fold in if it happens to be struck, such as perhaps if you're entering your garage and you happen to hit the side of the entrance of that garage. This is going to fold into help deter breakage or damage.

And this is going to be a simple bolt-on installation. There's no drilling required and this is going to use the same footprint and the mounting points as the factory mirror that you are replacing. This mirror will plug into your Civic's existing electrical wiring, and again this is for the passenger side of your Honda Civic.
