I am buying a new 2011 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab LE. The vehicle specification says that it comes with towing pre-wire. I need to know if this specific product 118263, can be connected to the pre-wire connector of the truck for the 4 pin trailer. thanks!, Ed

If the window sticker of the 2011 Nissan Frontier that you are looking at says that it has the factory trailer wiring you should already have the Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, part # 118263, that you referenced.

This product is for people who have either damaged their OEM harness or had a Nissan that did not have the wiring from the factory.

The truck you are looking at should already have a factory 4-way if its says it is pre-wired and you should not need this product.

Wiring harness #118263 is only part of what you would need for your 2015 Nissan Pathfinder. There is also a jumper harness and relays that will be needed to make the harness fully functional and is not included with #118263 since it is for models…

Since you have cleaned the connection where the harness plugs in under the vehicle and that made some of the functions start working then that leads me to believe that there is additional dirt and corrosion in that area causing it not to work…
