Troubleshooting No Left Turn/Brake Signal On Trailer
Question:
I installed the relays under kick panel on left side like instructions said. I checke the pin in the nine oclock position with turn signal on and no power is present. I check the three oclock position with turn signal on and there is power there. I swapped the blue relays under kick panel and this didnt change the outcome of the three and nine oclock pins. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

The 9:00 position of your 7-way should have the left turn/brake signal and the 3:00 position should have the right turn/brake signal when a 7-way is wired up in the traditional layout. I attached a picture that shows how a 7-way typically get wired.
It sounds like your 7-way is functioning correctly if the 9:00 pin has voltage with the left blinker on. Is it possible the problem is on your trailer wiring? A bad ground could easily cause the problem you described. Check the grounds of the trailer lights as that is a very common problem. Make sure they are attached to a clean metal surface.
I attached a couple help articles for you to check out as well.
