Hi there, I'm Michael with etrailer.com. Today, we're gonna take a quick look at this Cruiser license plate frame. This frame is going to have a nice contour design to it. So it's going to give you a nice, sleek modern aesthetic to enhance the look of your vehicle's license plate. Now, this is constructed of a durable die-cast zinc, so it's gonna be very corrosion resistant. It's also got a textured gray powder coat finish to it, so that's gonna help resist rust and corrosion, as well as giving it that nice cool look to it.
This is gonna be extremely easy to get installed on your vehicle. You'll just reuse your vehicle's existing hardware. They do have these four matching caps that will clip onto your screw head or bolt head once you get that installed. If you're looking for an upgrade to your existing hardware, there is antitheft, anti-rattle hardware that is sold separately that is available in standard and metric that will allow you a little bit more security. But standard hardware should work just fine.
You can see these holes are slotted to allow you to adjust your frame up and down a little bit, so that you can avoid obstructing your state's registration stickers or a state name on your license plate. You will, of course, want to check your state's regulations before you install this to make sure that everything is going to be legal for you. As far as our dimensions go, our overall width, we're looking at right about 12 1/2 of an inch wide. Our opening here in the center, I'm gonna call it 11 inches. Then our overall height, we're at 6 5/8 of an inch tall.
And our opening there, we're at just over five inches, 5 1/16 of an inch opening. So should be plenty of space for you to still see the license plate number while adding that little bit of style around the edge there to make it look a little bit nicer for you. Looks cool, but disappointed at how soon after install it began pitting, even with pretreatment of FluidFilm before installation....
Quality frame, heavy metal, not the cheap easy to bend stuff you see out there. I even bought a backup camera that goes between the top mounting holes. I just snipped the metal between the holes and the camera dropped right in.

High quality, provides a very clean look without covering any plate lettering.
Only problem I had was a slight delay due to understocking and manufacturer in China. It would be nice if the factory would bevel the edges so they're not quite so sharp. But, I've handled worse things than that. The mirror finish is flawless and I wouldn't think twice about ordering again. I think my pictures pretty much say it all. This truck is a 1998. Yes, it's eighteen years old!
What a great licens plate frame a for boat trailer. After a year it still looks as good as the day I installed it.
This RAM license plate holder was just what was needed to replace the generic dealer
plate holders. They are made of a sturdy quality chrome plated metal, and have swing away RAM logos to cover the top plate mounting screws.
They are beautiful and make the truck look so much better. etrailer is a great place to get them from for both price and service.
Don't forget the fastener caps "CR82630" if your plate fastens at the bottom.
Plate frames look great on my new Durango. The front went on without a hitch, but the back frame had to be cut. There is a back up camera located where the top middle of the plate frame needs to mount. In short 3 inches of the top middle of the frame needs to be cut out in order for the product to work. If your good with your hand tools it's no big deal and still looks great but if your a person without tool skills it wont work out of the box, photo enclosed. I would give it a 5 star for looks and a 3 star to install on a 2014 to 2017 Durango with back up camera

This frame was exactly what I was looking for. Its evenly thin edge all the way around my plate is super clean and non-obtrusive. The frame is as shiny as triple plated chrome, but shouldn't pit after 1 winter like my last frame because of its high quality stainless steel construction. It has a very flat surface and fits exactly as I hoped it would.
Hi-gloss finish matches chrome. Stainless steel should hold up to harsh Midwest winter, (and road salt); that will be the real test. The last "chrome metal" frame I bought was pitted and ruined after 1 winter, so that is why I stepped up to this one. This is a very thin frame with sharp edges, but otherwise nicely finished. Good bling factor.
