Re: Trailer Brake-away Kit I understand that the Trailer Mate Push to test Breakaway Kit w/ Tester and Built-In Charger Model # 75840 has been discontinued. can you advise on replacement parts or replacement Kit information.

For a replacement breakaway kit the Tekonsha kit part # 20020 would be a great option to replace everything. You didn't mention which parts you'd need to replace though.

Commonly people want to replace just the switch which for that you would want the part # 3802348. Due to the universal nature of how these install it would easily replace the switch you have if that's what you were in need of.

Per my contact at Hopkins, the wires used with the Engager Trailer BreakAway Kit with Charger and Tester, part #20099 are all 16-ga wire except the battery wire which is 14-gauge. The wire form the breakaway switch to the box is 16-gauge.
