The remote will not turn on

I called my contact at Air Lift and asked about the remote for the # AL25980.

They told me that if you can open the battery compartment, the contact that the battery has contact with will sometimes not make contact with the battery and that is the reason it will not turn on. They recommend bending the tab so that the battery makes contact and that should take care of the problem.

If that does not work, then the remote may be defective and will need to be replaced.
