Comparing The B&W Underbed Gooseneck Hitch For Companion 5th Wheel On 2013 Ram 2500

Question:

Another question I have is, do you have this 5th wheel hitch for a 2013 Ram 2500 longbed 6.7 Cummins diesel ?? B&W companion-slider-5th-wheel-hitch

For your 2013 Ram 2500, the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3500-5W is the same in both comparisons so the difference is in the gooseneck underbed rails. The Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1313-5W is a fit for DIESEL models only, and the # BWGNRK1308-5W is the fit for GAS models only on a 2013 Ram 2500. The components under the frame are different between the gas and diesel models, so make sure you get the right one for your application. They are compatible with the same 5th wheel hitch.

Once you have the proper model for your application, you may want to consider using the Curt 5th Wheel/Gooseneck Wiring Harness # C56000 to add a second 7-way connection to the bed of your truck for easier access and connection.

The Custom Underbed Installation Kit for B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitches # BWGNRK1313-5W is a confirmed fit for your 2013 Ram 2500 longbed with 6.7 Cummins. This is the gooseneck hitch as well as the underbed rail kit for the Companion 5th Wheel Hitch. The longbed (8 foot bed) doesn't need the sliding hitch, so most people use the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3500-5W. You can use the B&W Companion 5th Wheel Trailer Hitch w/ Slider - Dual Jaw - 20,000 lbs # BWRVK3400-5W but clearance isn't an issue that requires it like a short bed would. It will give you increased weight for installation, but it will work if that is what you choose to go with.
