Could 2013 Ford C-Max Tow Jon Boat Trailer that Weighs 600 lbs
Question:
On my 13 cmax would it be able to tow my Jon boat weights 500 to 600 lbs ok

Expert Reply:
For your 2013 Ford C-Max we have trailer hitches like the Curt part # C12092 which have towing capacities of 3,500 lbs which would easily tow a trailer that has a 500-600 lb boat on it.
For a ball mount you then would want the part # C45521, hitch ball # A-82 for a 2 inch ball, part # A-80 for 1-7/8 inch and then for wiring part # C59496.
You will need to check the owners manual of your vehicle to determine what Ford says are the towing capacities and be sure to stay under that.
