Best Fifth Wheel Towing Setup for Short Bed 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 with Rail Kit

We have a 2016 2500 hd GMC with the standard bed, that has the factory tow prep package. What are our options for sliders or sidewinder and 5th wheel hitchs that will fit this bed. What is your opinion of each?

I have a great solution for you, but there are no slider hitches out yet to fit the factory rail kits of the 2016 Chevy Silverado. So what you will want to use is the B and W Companion hitch part # BWRVK3700 as the Curt hitches aren't really great fits with the Sidewinders.
Since you have such a short bed you will need to replace your current pin box with a Sidewinder so that you can make tight turns without interference.
You will need to remove the pin box of the trailer and replace it with a Sidewinder pin box. Sidewinders are pin box specific so you will first need to know what pin box you have now in order to pick out the correct one.
There should be a sticker or a stamping on the OEM pin box of the trailer that will list the pin box number that is on the trailer.
Once you figure out which pin box you have you can check the FAQ I attached that has a chart that shows the correct Sidewinder to get based on which pin box you have.
