Today we are going to take a look at Camco Quick Hose Connect with auto shut off in brass, part number CAM20135. This quick hose connect allows you to attach or detach your hose quick and easily. One piece stays connected to your water inlet or water source and the other piece stays connected to your garden hose. Here is our brass quick connect with the auto shut off. You could see here. It goes back and forth.
When you have water pressure on this and this part is disconnected, it will push it in and seal this tight. To put it back together, lift up here, slide it in place. Let's go ahead and put it on the faucet. Thread it on. See here it's got a rubber grip on it so you can make sure you grip it nice and tight to secure it to the faucet.
Go ahead and pull this bottom piece out. Take our hose here, we'll thread it on to the other side. Now, we'll do a quick connect. Let's go ahead and do a quick demonstration to show it. We have all of our stuff on.
Now, if you set the hose down. Disconnect with the water still on and there is no more. Reconnect and then we have water. You can use this particular quick connect either around your home with your RV or camper as well as even both functions. The connectors were everything I expected them to be. I like the main body is made of brass. The black sleeves make for a good grip surface. I have one caution to note. I was not able to connect to one of my outside faucets on my house. I though I was cross threading. That was not the case. There is some sort of non-freeze mechanism in the faucet that prevented the connection from being made. On the RV, I had no issues like that. The connectors worked perfectly. Good product.

We use this on the shower heads at the greek houses that we clean. We can add and remove the head and attach a hose for easier cleaning. After daily use for a year they still work perfect and no need to replace them at this point. Still working great.

I bought two of this item, one for each exterior hose on my home. Both have worked perfectly for the weeks I have owned them...not even the tiniest leak from either one. These sure make disconnecting the garden hose on cold nights a whole lot easier. Glad I bought them and would do so again. They seem to not cause an reduction in water pressure/output which is a bonus.
