Can a Different Head be Put on an RBW Lil Rocker Base or Will a Different Hitch Fit the Same Rails

I have a 2002 Chevy Durmax with a 15K little rocker hitch. Can I in a new head without changing the legs and rail. I tow a 30foot Cameo 2 slide.

I have a solution for you but RBW has gone out of business so they no longer produce any parts that would be compatible with your Lil Rocker 5th wheel trailer hitch.

The RBW Lil Rocker hitch fits in industry standard above the bed rails. So if you have rails already then you can use any hitch that also fits in above the bed rails.

If you have a short bed truck and need a slider hitch I recommend # RP30051 rated for 16K. It has a dual jaw and a double pivot head. this is a good economical hitch. For a long bed truck the fixed hitch is # RP30047.

You will have to go with a sliding hitch to allow the trailer to make tight turns. For a trailer 8 feet wide the only bed length that's going to allow 90 degree turns without a slider is a stationary hitch. That being said you have two options.…

Yes you are - all 5th wheel hitches are going to require some type of rails in order to be used. So you'd need #DM8552016-71 for your 2006 Dodge Ram.
