Will Curt Bumper-Mount 2-Inch Trailer Hitch E-3S Fit Step Bumper on 2011 Toyota Tacoma
Question:
Hello, Can you tell me if your specialty hitch, the undermount model that attaches beneath the step bumper will fit my 2011 Toyota Tacoma? The specific hitch Im referring to is Curt E-3S. Thanks.

According to my contact at Curt, their Bumper-Mount 2-Inch Trailer Hitch # E-3S will fit the step bumper on your 2011 Toyota Tacoma since this is a general-purpose universal-fit item.
Installation hardware is included. The hitch mounting holes are spaced at 6-inches apart on center (the smaller set of holes) and on 8-3/4-inches apart on center (the larger set) as shown in the linked photo. If the spacing of the mounting holes does not match your bumper then you can drill new holes in the bumper to match the hitch. You'll need a torque wrench like # ALL944001 to secure the fasteners to the manufacturer's specs as noted in the instructions.
You'll want to confirm the weight rating of your bumper. The hitch itself is rated for 500-lbs of tongue weight (TW) and 5000-lbs of gross trailer weight (GTW) but your actual towing capacity will depend on the bumper's own rating. Check you owner's manual or with your local dealership to confirm.
If you need a 4-pole wiring harness use part # C55513 (an install video is linked for you) if you do not have the tow package or part # 118384 if you do have the tow package.
