Where to Install the Relays that Come with Tow Package Wiring Harness # 118243 on a 1999 Ford F-250
Question:
I have 1999 ford F250 Super Duty and bought this 118243 conversion the 2 fuses included were already installed but have absolutely no idea where these 2 relays go to make tow charge and tow back up lights work but do have the plug in for the trailer brake.i have searched high and low and your directions tell me nothing but to install them not where to install them and have searched TSB for answers also

I went over those instructions for the Ford Replacement OEM Tow Package Wiring Harness, # 118243, and other than the statement that they are located in the Power Distribution box, you are correct; it does not state specifically where the relays need to go. The information should be in your 1999 Ford F-250 owners manual.
I did a little research and found the locations. The Trailer Tow Backup Lamp Relay is position #38 in the power distribution box. The Trailer Tow Charge is position # 39 in the power distribution box. They may not be on the main part of the power distribution box but they will be near by.
